Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking

This qualification reflects the job roles of individuals working in finance broking (including mortgage broking). This course meets the minimum educational requirement for Individuals engaged in credit activities as defined in the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (National Credit Act) and meets the educational requirements as outlined in the ASIC Regulatory Guide 206 (RG206) credit Licensing guide.

This qualification will also meet the minimum educational requirements for financial adviser representatives who provide financial product advice to re­tail clients. It applies to individuals who are authorised as an ASIC registered Australian financial services license (AFSL) holder or representative to provide advice on deposit products, non-cash payment facilities and general insur­ance products at Tier 2 level, as per the ASIC Regulatory Guide 146 Licensing Training requirements for Financial Product Advisors.
