Certificate II in Salon Assistant
The Certificate II in Salon Assistant qualification is nationally recognised. This qualification provides students with a pathway into the trade entry qualification Certificate III in Hairdressing or Certificate III in Barbering qualification, for the hairdressing industry
Functions at this level include applying skills and knowledge to sell products and services, ensuring a safe working environment and performing a full range of hairdressing services.
By undertaking this qualification you will develop the skills to enable you to work as part of a team in a national or international salon, performing a range of services that include:

On successful completion of the Certificate II in Salon Assistant qualification, students will be able to continue into the Certificate III in Hairdressing or Certificate III in Barbering program or obtain an Australian Apprenticeship.
